My name is Monica Maruri-Rosado, I am a Certified Fitness Trainer and super passionate about helping people achieve their fitness and fat loss goals. In fact, if you are ready to achieve permanent fitness and get in the best shape of your life, this is definitely the place for you!

In February of 2016, I opened up my first Fit Body Boot Camp in my home town of South Brunswick. My goal was, and continues to be, to help as many people as I can to learn what it takes to live a healthy life. I don’t believe in just “losing weight” alone. I believe in taking the right steps, both with exercise and nutrition, to live a healthy life for the rest of your life – making it a lifestyle. Since February, my team and I have helped over a thousand people loose over 4k pounds in just a short time! Our program is so amazing that I could not wait to share it with others and continue to help others. This is why I decided to open my next Fit Body Boot Camp in Princeton.

You see, all my life I have been passionate about fitness. Whether it was playing softball, dancing or swimming, I was always doing something to stay active. Once I started my family and wasn’t as active, I started to put on weight. So many times I felt like I was on a roller-coaster ride putting on weight and then taking it off again the wrong way. I tried plenty of fad diets, which only helped me lose weight for a short period and then I put the weight back on again. Sound familiar?

Like many people I felt hopeless and was unhappy, I didn’t know what to do. I decided a change had to be made! I became a Personal Certified Trainer and I started changing my eating habits and living a healthier lifestyle consistently. As a trainer, I was introduced to resistance training and high intensity interval training. The combination of these two really helped get me back in shape, and stay in shape, in a relatively short time. I incorporated this into my classes and my clients just loved it! Then, the fitness center I was working with closed down, and both my clients and I were so sad! I had to do something fast, and luckily I heard about the Fit Body Boot Camp opportunity and I had to jump on it. I knew it was a perfect fit for me!
