My name is Jen Shifflett. I am a certified personal trainer and a TLS certified weight loss coach. I’m married and a busy mom of 4. I was not always a personal trainer. In my 30’s, I began to gain weight and have health issues. I was unhappy, and needed a change. I completely changed the way I was eating and working out, and I started to lose weight, feel better, and no longer needed the medications I was on. Fitness changed my life, and I decided I wanted to pass that on to others. So, I completely changed careers and became a personal trainer. Teaching bootcamp sessions and helping others reach their fitness goals is my passion. Our workouts are 30 minutes so anyone can make time for them. Each class is different, so you will never get bored. We provide modifications for any issues or injuries you have. No matter your fitness level, you will get a great workout. We also offer nutritional consultations and direction. We are a family here and we hope you will come and give us a try!
My name is Michael MacDonald. I recently moved to Myrtle Beach from Cape Cod MA with my wife Michele and Lola our pug. I participated in crossfit for the past four years, including competitions and completed the spartan trifecta. When I turned 50, I started to notice serious injuries and nagging pains and had to spend more time recovering, and I became concerned. My wife was looking to get back into working out and wanted to try Fit Body Boot Camp and suggested I visit with her.
Michele hates to workout! I was surprised when she was interested in the Fit Body Boot Camp program. My first concern for myself was, will it be tough enough? Second, there are very few men. Last, will Michele continue to go?
We loved it!
First, I realized this formula is tough enough with the intense short bursts of exercise, and I am seeing great results. I no longer have injuries or nagging pain. Second, a few more men have joined and we want to continue that trend – men should not think this is a women’s gym. Last, Michele and I continue to go together and she has seen great results for someone that hates to workout, and she is there five days a week.

Jen is an incredible advocate for the program and the gym, and when I was considering being a part of Fit Body Bootcamp, I knew it would be more successful with her. It only made sense to partner together and I am looking forward to the future. Our vision for Fit Body Boot Camp is to provide you with the tools to reach your goals.
