About Chad Dewey
Welcome to Monument Fit Body Boot Camp. We absolutely have a passion to see our community achieve their health and fitness goals. We want everyone we meet to experience the feeling of confidence they will get from being physically fit, healthy, and strong!
A little bit about Chad (Coach) Dewey:
My fitness journey began as a skinny high school basketball player in Iowa. I earned an NCAA Scholarship to play at Colorado Christian University, where I received my BA in Communications. While at CCU, I understood the importance of strength training, and I went from the skinny basketball player to one of the strongest players in our conference in 1.5 years. Turning what might have been a negative into a positive truly gave me the confidence I needed to play at a higher level.
After graduation, I served the community of Jefferson County as a Deputy Sheriff for nearly 10 years. My career in law enforcement allowed me to understand what it means to serve the community. During my time as an officer, I worked with many of my coworkers, assisting them in improving their fitness levels, which resulted in increased production on the job and a better quality of life for themselves.
My passion for fitness lead me into a now 12-year career in the health and wellness industry, having served as a personal trainer, small group trainer, elite athlete trainer, fitness gym operator, and vice president of healthy living programs for a non-profit, my most recent position.
A little bit about Susan:
My fitness journey began shortly after Chad and I married in 1998. I was a runner, but it felt llike I couldn’t run enough to achieve the body I wanted. I began doing some resistance and interval training with Chad, which helped me shed fat, feel strong, and be happy with my body. A couple of years later, we started our family, and I was faced with the challenge to lose A LOT of the baby weight that came with my first pregnancy. Three and a half years later, I again faced this struggle after being pregnant. However, I no longer had the luxury of going to the gym whenever I wanted to or for as long as I wanted to. Time and efficiency became crucial to getting the most out of my workouts.
I did successfully lose all of my baby weight both times and developed a desire to help other moms—moms from every stage of their life—gain control over their weight and feel strong and confident again. I began working as a personal trainer with Chad and was able to help my clients be successful in their weight loss journey by teaching them the basics of good nutrition and exercise.
We now bring you Monument Fit Body Boot Camp, and will strive to provide you the same results as other Fit Body Boot Camps have provided around the world! We are a results driven fitness studio, and our coaches will push and motive you to be proud of your abilities every time you come in! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to do what we love, and love what we do. Our coaching studio is for all fitness levels, and we want every member to feel as though they are a part of our family. We look forward to helping you on your fitness journey.
