About Kyle Anderson
Hi! My name is Kyle Anderson. I have been passionate about helping people grow and succeed in health & wellness since I was very young. My passion started with wanting to be a doctor at the age of 5, and continued to grow as I learned more about the human body. As I learned more about the body, my passion for seeing how exercise makes everything better continued to grow. I truly just love the healthy lifestyle, and seeing others become empowered by becoming physically fit. I want everyone I meet to experience the amazing feeling of confidence they will get from being physically fit, and I want to help others feel what it is like to truly love their body.
Although I lived a physically active lifestyle through running track, playing collegiate football and weight lifting, I came to grips that I couldn’t out run my own health concerns. At the age of 20, I was diagnosed with Primary Hypertension (also known as severe high blood pressure). My attempts to ward off my condition by ignoring it was not enough. I realized I needed to change my lifestyle completely to focus on living the “wellness life”, including nutrition, cardio and resistance training. This was the true beginning of my fitness journey.
I went further into studying physiology to better understand how conditions can be better maintained through physical activity and proper nutrition. Although I lead a very active lifestyle at 20, I was put on heavy meds for my hereditary condition. From studying Exercise Physiology, I learned different methods to control my high blood pressure (HBP). This is where my passion grew to help others to empower them to overcome any obstacles including obesity, injuries, self esteem and other health conditions. The major turning point for me came during an intern experience were I was assigned to rehab a former football player, now a diagnosed quadriplegic. After working with my patient for 6 months, I watched a man who was told he would never walk again curl 50 lb ankle weights per arm and then stand up. He showed me what true determination was and how my education wasn’t just for me. This changed me completely. I found I had a true calling to help others. This is why self-empowerment is very important to me.
Fast forward, I have been in the health & wellness industry for the last 20 years. I began my professional career as a personal trainer obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Fitness/Wellness Management, Clinical Physiology from Louisiana Tech University, Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas, and have worked toward my PhD in Exercise Physiology from Texas Woman’s University. I have held multiple certifications including American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)-Health Fitness Director, ACSM-Health Fitness Instructor, National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)-Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist, NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer, American Council of Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer, American Institute of Fitness Educators (AIFE)-Certified Fitness Instructor, and AIFE-Post Rehab Specialist. My health & wellness background includes training clients for weight management, nutritional counseling, special population programming such as diabetes, arthritis, autoimmune diseases, post rehab, cardiac rehab and strength and conditioning for professional and student athletes. I have created numerous wellness strategies for corporations, delivered nation-wide fitness education programs to certified fitness professionals, physical and occupational therapists and physicians, and instructed health and wellness courses for undergraduate students at both Texas Wesleyan University and Tarrant County Community College.
While the last few years have focused on corporate wellness, I never forgot my passion for fitness. I really wanted to help others realize their abilities and gain confidence, just as I did, and that is when I found Fit Body Boot Camp and the Unstoppable Fitness Formula. FBBC’s dedication to changing the lives of others is perfectly in line with the services I want to provide.
I have had the pleasure of serving the employees of Coppell as their corporate wellness executive, and now I look forward to being a fitness & wellness resource for all city residents. Coppell Fit Body Boot Camp is a results driven fitness studio, and our trainers will push and motivate you to be proud of your abilities every time you come!
